The Logo of the Bed & Breakfast and Farmstay Association of New South Wales Incorporated
The Association has a single logo deriving from the logos of the two separate associations that comprise the Bed & Breakfast and Farmstay Association of New South Wales. All members of the association are entitled to use the logo in their literature and other promotional material, such as their B&B or Farmstay accommodation websites.
The Association's logo is an important indicator to the travelling
public of the quality of experience and of the standard of customer
service that guest can expect at an operator's property. It is
important therefore, that the logo is presented to the public wherever
possible: at the property itself, on brochures and on websites. It is
equally, or even more, important that the logo when used, is used
according to the guidelines established by the Association. It should
not be distorted in shape nor should colours other that the
"official" colours be used. On websites it should be used with a white
background in the size available below.
The logo and the words Bed & Breakfast and Farmstay are a trademark
(TM) registered in the name of the Association. Members are
automatically entitled to use the logo and the words Bed & Breakfast and
Farmstay - provided that they do so strictly in accordance with the
Guidelines for the use of the trademarks. Permission to use the logo
outside the Guidelines will not be provided.
"Farmgate" Logo Decal:
The Association has available, for sale to members only, a 300mm x 400 mm soft plastic peel-on peel-off decal of the logo. The decal is suitable for affixing to any clean surface (tin, steel, plastic, glass, Perspex etc.) for use on members' property: farmgates - property entrances - hanging signs (may need two decals) etc etc.

The official CMYK colours for the print version of the logo are sky C-59 M-0 Y-0 K-0 Earth C-16 M-69 Y-100 K-4 Bedhead C-100 M-98 Y-5 K-6 Text C-100 M-98 Y-21 K31. Note that the colours for the web or electronic version could be different from that of the print version.
It is important that members wishing to use the logo should seek permission to do so stating clearly the purpose for which it is to be used. This is to make sure that they are provided with the most appropriate version of the logo.
The logo and the words "Bed & Breakfast and Farmstay" are trademarks owned by the Association. This means that the logo and the words "Bed & Breakfast and Farmstay" may not be used in the context of the accommodation industry other than with the express permission of the Association.
Bed & Breakfast and Farmstay Association of New South Wales Incorporated is now recognised as the peak body in New South Wales for the Bed & Breakfast Industry with Tourism NSW, Local Government & Shires Association, HMAA, and other key groups throughout Australia.
